Earn investor confidence with SBTi advisory
We turn climate commitments into SBTi-validated targets by measuring your emissions, modelling the pathway, and building the plan to deliver it.
Reach your targets with carbon expertise behind the plan
Most consultants just set the targets. We also build the carbon projects and reduction plans to reach them
Targets and pathway together
We set the targets and build the reduction plan alongside them, so your company knows how it will get there.
Full Scope 3 capability
SBTi requires Scope 3 targets when value chain emissions are significant. We measure and set targets across all three scopes.
Carbon project expertise for the offset stage
When you hit the residual that cannot be eliminated, we have the carbon projects to source quality offsets in-house.
Submission process managed
We prepare the submission, manage validation, and handle SBTi queries through to approval.
Solving the gaps that stall SBTi commitments
We close the strategy gaps that keep companies from turning an aspirational pledge into a validated, actionable target.
Many companies commit to SBTi before measuring their emissions. We build the GHG inventory first, so the targets are grounded in real data.
A validated target without a reduction pathway is a promise without a plan. We build both together so the commitment is deliverable.
SBTi requires Scope 3 targets when value chain emissions are a lot. We measure it and set realistic targets for it.
How we get your SBTi targets validated
We measure your emissions, model targets against SBTi criteria, and manage the submission through to approval.
We measure your GHG emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 to build the baseline your targets will be set against.
We set targets aligned with SBTi criteria and the latest climate science.
We build the roadmap for how your company will achieve the targets through operational changes and residual offsets.
We prepare the submission, manage the SBTi validation process, and handle any queries through to approval.
We set up governance and tracking so your team can monitor and report progress against validated targets.
What your SBTi engagement delivers
An emissions baseline across Scope 1 (direct operations), Scope 2 (energy), and Scope 3 (value chain)
Emission reduction targets aligned with SBTi criteria and climate science.
A plan showing how to reach the targets through operational changes, energy procurement, and residual offsetting.
The complete submission prepared for SBTi validation, with all supporting documentation and methodology.
A governance and tracking structure so your team can report progress against targets year over year.
SBTi advisory shaped by your industry's emission profile
A power company's reduction pathway looks different from a logistics company's. We build targets and pathways around your sector's specific needs.
Straight answers on SBTi targets
Start with what companies ask most about setting and validating science-aligned targets, then bring us your own questions.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validates corporate emission reduction targets to ensure they are aligned with the level of decarbonization needed to limit global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.
You need a completed GHG inventory covering Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions, a defined base year, and reduction targets calculated using an SBTi-approved method before submitting for validation.
After submission, SBTi's own review and validation process can take a few months, in addition to the time needed to prepare your target and supporting documentation beforehand.
Near-term targets typically cover a 5-10 year horizon and set an interim reduction pathway, while net-zero targets, validated under SBTi's Net-Zero Standard, require deep long-term reductions of at least 90-95% by a set year, with residual emissions neutralized.
We build your GHG inventory, model reduction pathways using SBTi-approved methods, prepare your target submission, and support you through the validation and ongoing progress-reporting process.
Validated science-based targets signal that a company has a credible, science-aligned emission reduction plan. Investors use it as a proxy for climate risk management maturity.
